Tips for service
Tipping is common practice when on a tour in Morocco, especially as a way of showing appreciation for the guides and other service staff. We suggest you allocate between $15 to $20 per Adult per day to be given to the driver at the end of your trip. Keep in mind this is a suggested amount and we never ask the driver or guides how much they get. For those wanting to show their gratitude in other ways, small gifts or souvenirs are considered appropriate tokens of appreciation. However, it’s always important to check with your guide before giving any gifts as there may be different customs and practices. if you have the opportunity to take a meal in a private home, it is customary to bring a small gift. In restaurants, it is best to tip directly in cash, even if you use a credit card for the food portion of the bill. Genuine Morocco takes care of the staff tips at your hotels unless you have been informed otherwise. You may tip extra but it is not necessary.
